How water resistant is Mighty Wave?
The Mighty Wave has a waterproof rating of IPX7. It can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for 30 minutes without any damage. That means Wave is a great option for swimming, paddle boarding or any water sport.

Does the Wave come with wired earbuds?
Yes. Listening to music underwater requires special earbuds and a good seal which is why we include earbud tips. Be sure to see which earbud tips work best for your ear canal.

Does Wave work with wired and Bluetooth headphones?
Yes. Mighty Wave has a standard audio jack for traditional wired headsets and it can also be paired with Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Note that Bluetooth does not work underwater so wired headphones are optimal.

I get water leakage in my ear while swimming. How can I improve the seal?
Find the 3-ringed earbud tips that fits you best. Use two hands: one hand to pull your outer ear or earlobe outwards to straighten the ear canal, the other hand to insert the earbud. While inserting the earbud, use a circular motion to wiggle it inwards. If desired: place a light coat of petroleum jelly or coconut oil to the outer surface of the earbud rings. Always be mindful of not putting earbuds or tips too deep into your ear canal.

Does Mighty Wave Float?
Yes. Mighty Wave will float if you drop it in the pool or if it comes unclipped while in the water.

Do I need a smartphone?
Yes. You currently need a smartphone running iOS or Android to sync your playlists to Mighty.

Do I need an Amazon Music premium subscription?
Yes. You need Amazon Music Prime or Unlimited for use with Mighty.

Does Mighty work in other languages?
The Mighty voice prompts are currently in English only. We are working on translating voice prompts into other languages.

Does Mighty play MP3s?
Mighty is designed to take your streaming music offline. Mighty currently plays Amazon Music.

How much storage place does Mighty have?
Mighty holds 1,000+ songs. That is equivalent to 8GB.

SO pleased with this little wonder….. I spent some weeks in a “Recovery Center” where I was forewarned that No Wireless would be available SO, quick research indicated the Mighty 3 would not require Wireless once it was Synced with my choice of Music and Podcasts which I did at home.
Bottom line, I only needed the Mighty 3 and “Wired” earplugs ($19 for excellent set via Amazon) to enjoy as much music / entertainment as I had time for.
Initially creating Playlists can be a little tricky but just use the Mighty Apps’ “Tour” and you’ll be fine. ENJOY!

New App Version Bricked the Player

I've been a happy customer for 4+ years. The new app update made the player stop working entirely. When I try to get help through customer support, nothing has worked. It sucks because I used this thing 3 days a week when I swim, now it's only good for the ear plugs.

It doesn’t work

I reckon these reviews are paid for. Not a single one saying it is iffy yet reviews I. The App Store are poor. I’ve just got a mighty wave for my daughter and it can’t even Bluetooth connect to my phone. Everything is set as per the video, i e done all the troubleshooting but it still doesn’t work. One very disappointed 12 year old.

We are sorry to hear Mighty isn't hitting the mark for you. Based on your review, it sounds like you are trying to connect your Mighty via Bluetooth vs via the Mighty app as described in the setup video/instructions. Mighty connects to your phone via WiFi and the free Mighty app that is available on the App Store or Google Play. If you are trying to connect Mighty via Bluetooth, you will get an error message.
