I got this for my daughter. I love how small it is. The instructions to get started were easy, but it did take quite a while to get the music uploaded initially and I have yet to figure out how to get podcast on there through my Amazon Music. Overall it’s great and I recommend.
Read the Anxious Generation, and I am 100% onboard with keeping my kids away from smartphones until they are driving. Currently have a 6th grader who is feeling left out. He came to me with a very strong list of all the reasons why he needed a phone. Many were things I had considered, but one that I had not? Be able to listen to music with headphones. My research led me to the Mighty, and I'm so glad it did. It's easy to use, and his friends think it's cool too. They aren't allowed to have their phones at school, but the Mighty is allowed for use between breaks. Now all the kids want one.
I already had a spotify premium subscription, so the ongoing cost of that was not an issue.
My kids are starting to notice how much cellphones keep kids from socializing with each other when in person. This really is the start of a great change for their generation, and the Mighty is definitely a needed technology to support that. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for this thoughtful review, we really appreciate you sharing your experience.
We love hearing the positive impact Mighty is having on your family, especially in creating a phone-free way for your son to enjoy music and stay connected with friends. It’s amazing to hear it’s catching on at school too!
Thanks again for your support and for being part of the Mighty community!
