My tween loves this, accepted by camp/school. Slightly hard to navigate to find specific songs. Overall excellent product!
So compact, easy to use and looks nice. Fun colors as well! Great quality.
The perfect device for listening to music offline. Small, handy, and, above all, screenless. My child is thrilled :)
He loves it. It was a gift for sleepaway camp but he’s been using it every day at home too. Even decided to go for. Walk around the block (for the first time ever on his own) because he was inspired by the music. He’s bopping his head along to his playlist the same way I did with my Walkman back in the day. It’s perfect.
We were looking for a good device for our kids to have music when they go to camp. The mighty play has been fun for them getting to create their own music playlists and be in control of what they want to listen to in the car. Since we already pay for Spotify it just made sense and it was a GREAT purchase.
super easy to set up, amazing audio quality and so much fun to use! i feel super swag and cool and cool and swag with it yayayaya
Perfect for our middle schooler who wanted to listen to music but doesn't have a phone yet. It's along bus ride and this helps her get through the traffic and stops.
I work in the mining industry and we are unable to have our mobile phones on us during work hours. Using my Mighty meant that I could listen to my music, podcasts and audiobooks whenever I wanted to! Easy to use and reliable - what more could you want?
I just wish I stuck an apple air tag on mine because unfortunately it was taken from my bag after only having it a week. :(
We purchased a Mighty for our spa, we needed a solution to our old outdated spa music which out spending a fortune on iPads. This was the perfect solution for us as we have multiple buildings and area which we prefer to have different playlists at.
I’m so excited! I have struggled to allow myself to kids access to music because it always is connected to an app or a screen. And even if I block things they figure it out. So happy to see this device in the market.
This one is a bit hit and miss for me. The idea of an iPod Shuffle revival is great, it was my favorite device for everything: plug into the aux and go, workouts, runs, all of it. The hardware here nails that part. It’s small, compact, and the buttons aren’t easy to hit by accident. Battery life is phenomenal too, I’ve let it run for around six hours with no issue. I don't blast the sound so the volume was excellent. It's a little pricy but not unworth it. The miss is the playlist syncing. It takes much longer than I expected to download anything, and it will randomly disconnect before finishing. It took several tries to get my three playlists on there. I haven’t hit the 30‑day refresh yet, but since I only add a couple songs a month, I’m hoping it won’t be as frustrating. Overall, great idea and solid device, but needs something to keep the connection alive to avoid those annoying disconnects during setup.
I bought this for my 9 year old son. We try to control screen time and digital access to a degree but he loves having music with him. Alexa got him to some inappropriate music so we went looking for basically what we grew up with- a CD player/Ipod classic kind of thing but then the question was where to get music to add? Enter the Mighty Vibe. I have a spotify account, we can build a playlist together and sync it up and voila, he has all his music on the go! The only downside for him is not being able to easily find a song bc there is no screen or search but its a small price to pay! Planning to get one for each of his brothers too!
My son has been asking for a music player for awhile now - we try to minimize overall screen time and did not want to get him a phone/etc. After a lot of research, I settled on getting him a Mighty 3 for his recent 9th birthday - it has been a MASSIVE hit, he loves it and takes it everywhere - in the house, on the road, it's always with him.
My one caveat, which is the reason for the 4 star - while syncing with Spotify in general goes very quickly, actually syncing individual playlists has been hit-or-miss. I put together 3-4 playlists with 10-15 tracks each, then added in a Spotify-generated playlist that was larger (about 70 tracks). On multiple attempts - sitting with the Mighty plugged in, immediately adjacent to the phone, actively watching the phone/not letting it go into sleep mode - it never fully synced all of the tracks from any of the playlists. This is in the same room as the router, the phone had full battery, etc - my son was still thrilled with the music he had, but he has also requested a few tracks that haven't synced, and there's no way to tell which tracks DID complete sync, just the number ("9/15tracks synced, etc").
As a metal music loving family we wanted our son to enjoy music independently on his way too and from school, but we have strict rules regarding screen time. The mighty 3 meant he could explore his music tastes and interests, as us kids pre smart phones used too! Im loving the easy nature of the app, the syncing and how you can organise it into play lists! Great little purchase, and I am always highly recommending for other families who are navigating screen limits.
We wanted a screen free / app free device so our 9 year old could enjoy music without the worrying of apps and unwanted things online.
She has enjoyed and loves to create her own playlist. So far we are very happy with it. Thank you for developing a safe option for our kids.
I bought it so I don't have to talk to people while strolling my dogs. Works great. The charging cord is too short, everything else is great
It is very tiny so it’s good because of that but it is also easy to lose. It was difficult to connect to my AirPods but overall, great product to cut down your screen time!
SO pleased with this little wonder….. I spent some weeks in a “Recovery Center” where I was forewarned that No Wireless would be available SO, quick research indicated the Mighty 3 would not require Wireless once it was Synced with my choice of Music and Podcasts which I did at home.
Bottom line, I only needed the Mighty 3 and “Wired” earplugs ($19 for excellent set via Amazon) to enjoy as much music / entertainment as I had time for.
Initially creating Playlists can be a little tricky but just use the Mighty Apps’ “Tour” and you’ll be fine. ENJOY!
We purchased for our 11 year old to use, to help cut down on some of his screen time, and it’s been fantastic for music. It allows him access to his playlists on the bus and anytime there isn’t internet as well, without having to give him a phone.
It’s a bit of a pain for audiobooks, at least for us, as he blows through them every couple days. We’ve become so used to “on demand” everything, that waiting the time it takes to sync a new audiobook onto the Mighty feels like a huge inconvenience. Maybe it’s not a bad thing :) It just requires a little pre-planning in terms of getting a new one on there before he needs/wants it, which I’d say is actually great for building that skill in a kid.
All in all, we’re pretty happy with it.
We wanted a phone free / app free device so our 11 year old could enjoy music without it being a phone based thing. He loves it. We build playlists and mix it up weekly. He takes it on the bus, biking and in walks. He sings songs all day long. It’s the best. Highly recommend. This is as close to the old iPod was we can get and we’ll take it!!
I got a brand new mighty 3 and I have been unsuccessful in downloading any content due to the new app. App continuously crashes, takes over 2 hours to sync 50 songs and then will just stop syncing all together. Unable to use phone while app is syncing. Old app was never this bad and you did not have to keep the app open during syncing - please fix the app otherwise i have wasted my money
Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate you sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear how frustrating this has been with the app and syncing. That’s not the experience you should be having. We’ve made recent updates and are continuing to improve reliability. Please reach out to us at heyo@bemighty.com so our team can help get things working properly.
The music quality is really good, and I love all the features on the device, as well as the amazing amount of storage. Thank you so much, Mighty Team, for providing me with this device. As Andrew H mentioned below, the syncing is pretty slow; you just have to let it sync overnight for the best results. The screen-free aspect is one of the best parts of the device...and I love it!
Thank you, Ollie
