Mighty

I was looking for a device that would bring a certain sense of nostalgia, where the focus was on sound rather than the screen. My intention was to give a gift to someone discerning and completely passionate about music, my 4-year-old daughter. It could not have worked out better. The setup took only a few minutes, and soon she was walking around the house with her headphones and her Mighty 3, singing along to her playlist.

I am very happy with this device, as the lack of screen-based distractions and its intuitive design, even for such a young child, made all the difference.

The Mighty suits our whole family for screen-free listening. I use one while walking, my husband plugs in when focusing on a repetitive work task, and my kids (7 & 9yos) get to choose their own listening adventure, while I get to oversee their content. I already used Spotify Premium, so the Mighty fit in easily.

I was looking for a music playing option that:
- Was not a phone
- Didn't involve an extra monthly subscription since we already paid for Amazon music
- Didnt require cell service or wifi connected to play music
- Didn't have to pay per song
- Simple enough my 8 and 11 year-olds could use

I had more exclusionary criteria than inclusion criteria. The Mighty 3 fit the bill for both of my kids! They haven't put it down since they got them in their Easter baskets. Very pleased and so grateful that someone out there values listening to music without the screens and extras!
