Mighty was the answer I was looking for! I am a single mom of three boys- searching for a music player that worked with Spotify - that was screen free. I found mighty and gifted it to my 10 year old- INSTANT hit- and in our house- you can listen
to unlimited music if you vacuum - thus - I have a clean house and a very happy kid.
It brings back memories of my old school iPod and dancing around the house with my corded headphones.
I will be purchasing some for my other boys.
If you are on the fence- get it- it’s amazing. 10/10- you have made this mama and son so happy!

We really wanted to love it for out 11 year old. But even after syncing multiple times and factory resetting, the thing just couldn’t do it. It would play, then hit a song it didn’t like and just be silent. If we had spent $20…. It would have been good enough, but for over $200 CAD - and be limited to Spotify?!!! Forget it. Sadly, we returned and are reminded why to stick to proven name brands for electronics.
We are bummed to hear Mighty didn't meet your expectations. It sounds like something was causing some of the songs on your playlist to get hung up. In early January there was an issue with the datafeed being sent from Spotify that impacted a specific set of music causing stopages like you mention here. Those issues have been resolved and impacted users are now reporting playback as expected. It sounds like you have opted to return your Mighty which is totally your call. We bought this for a young child attracted by the no screen promise. It does not live up to its promise. The software is glitchy and difficult to use. Hours of frustration trying to load audiobooks chapter by chapter. Constant inability to update software due to WiFi not being good enough when every other device is running no problem. It’s a completely misrepresentation to say it works with Spotify. It doesn’t sync well and after one week we had a message that our 30 day download limit had expired: Don’t bother with this device it’s an almighry waste of money.
Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to hear your Mighty did not live up to your expectations. Since Mighty does not have a screen, setup and use can be a little tricky. Mighty works with Spotify Premium and works really well with music playlists and podcasts. Tens of thousands Mighty users are using Mighty to listen to daily basis. The Spotify audiobook offering is new, and the offline functionality/process is a bit of an evolution as Spotify makes updates to their offering. That is not an excuse, just the reality of where our audiobook offering is at currently. We are actively working to impvrove the experience for syncing and listining to audiobooks on your Mighty.
